"Data Sources" feature allows the Runmefit app to connect to your phone’s health and fitness data. iPhone users can connect to Apple Health, while Android users can connect to Google Fit and Health Connect. The app can also read the data recorded by your phone even without a Runmefit smartwatch or fitness tracker, making it easier to view and manage your health data.
How to Use
The app automatically selects a appropriate data source based on the connection status. You can also switch sources manually.
-
When no watch or fitness tracker is connected, the app uses "From Phone" as the default data source. You can tap "From Runmefit Watch or Band" to go to connection page.
-
After connection, data from your watch or fitness tracker is used by default. You can also switch the data source to "From Phone". To switch the data source, tap the desired source and select "Yes" in the pop-up window.
-
If your watch or fitness tracker disconnects, the app keeps the current data source setting. You can go to "Devices" and tap "Reconnect" to restore the connection.
- After unbinding, if third-party app data access is enabled, the data source will automatically switch to "From Phone". If permissions are not enabled, the app will keep the previous data source setting. To ensure your data syncs correctly, allow the health platform to access data from the app.
What Data Can Be Synced?
iPhone users can sync with Apple Health; Android users can sync with Google Fit and Health Connect.
Health metrics such as calories, heart rate, and sleep support two-way syncing. Basic health information such as weight and height can only sync from health platforms to the app.
