The battery performance of your Runmefit Watch is closely related to your daily usage and settings. Certain features and configurations may accelerate battery consumption. To achieve a longer lasting experience, please follow the methods below to optimize your watch settings.
Please ensure your Runmefit App and watch firmware are updated to the latest version for the best battery optimization effectiveness.
1. Disable Always On Display
On the watch's home screen, swipe down to bring up the quick panel, and find the[] icon in the quick panel. Disable the "Always On Mode" function to prevent the screen from displaying continuously, thereby reducing standby power consumption. (Note: This function is only available on some models)
2. Disable Wake-up Gesture
Please open the Runmefit App, select the 【Device】 page, click 【Device settings】, and disable the “Raise to wake” function. This prevents the screen from being frequently activated during daily activities or sleep due to accidental arm movements.
3. Reduce Screen Brightness
On the watch's home screen, swipe down to bring up the quick panel, and find the [] icon in the quick panel. Please reduce the screen brightness according to the current usage environment. Alternatively, open the Runmefit App, select the 【Device】 page, click 【Device settings】, and adjust the “Brightness Adjustment” function.
4. Shorten Screen On Time
Please open the Runmefit App, select the 【Device】 page, click 【Device settings】, and adjust the duration of the “Screen off” setting to reduce power consumption from the screen staying on too long.
5. Disable Automatic Measurements
Automatic measurement functions (such as continuous heart rate monitoring, continuous blood oxygen measurement, etc.) keep the sensors working constantly. Open the Runmefit App, select the 【Device】 page, click 【Device settings】, and selectively disable these all-day automatic measurement functions based on your actual usage.
6. Disable Frequent Notifications
Frequent notifications and vibrations increase power consumption. Please open the Runmefit App, select the 【Device】 page, click 【Notifications】, and disable unnecessary and frequent app message pushes.
7. Enable Eco Mode
On the watch's home screen, swipe down to bring up the quick panel, find the[]icon in the quick panel, and tap it to enable “Eco Mode”. The system will automatically restrict notifications and calls, reduce brightness, and limit automatic measurements and wake-up gestures.
8. Update Software Timely
Ensure that both the Runmefit watch firmware and the Runmefit App always remain on the latest version. Software updates usually include battery efficiency optimizations and fixes for potential power consumption bugs.
9. Avoid Extreme Temperatures
Avoid charging and using the watch in overheated (such as direct sunlight) or overcooled environments. Extreme temperatures can permanently shorten the lifespan and maximum capacity of the lithium battery.
By comprehensively adjusting and managing these nine methods, you can effectively improve the battery life of your Runmefit smartwatch and achieve a longer, more sustainable usage experience.
