Why doesn't my watch or fitness tracker light up when I flip my wrist?

  • Updated

Make sure the Raise to Wake feature is turned on:

  • Watch Devices: Go directly to the "Settings" of the watch, and then turn on the wake-up switch.

  • Fitness Tracker Devices: Go to the "Runmefit" App and set it up under Devices > Device settings > Raise wrist to wake.

Check if the watch or fitness tracker is in "Do Not Disturb" mode:

In this mode, the screen won't light up as you flip your wrist, and message notifications won't be alerted either.

  • Watch Devices: Go directly to the watch's "Quick Settings", as follows:

  • Fitness tracker Devices: Go to the "Runmefit" App and set it up under Devices > More > Do not disturb.

To avoid accidental wakeups caused by wrist flips, we've imposed some restrictions:

  • When walking or standing, lift your wrist naturally from the side, keeping the screen level.
  • When sitting, try flipping your wrist out 90°, then inward until the screen is facing up and level.

Tip: It's recommended to try several times to find the best angle to wake up your watch or fitness tracker screen.
